PostJobFree includes free syndicated job postings and candidate search functionality.

Job Posting

As an employer, you can post up to 10 free job posts each day to PostJobFree and it will publish to Bing, Google and other job search sites. It was very simple to post a job by entering the job title, company name, job description, location and an optional salary.

When creating a job post on PostJobFree, you enter a job title, job description and other basic job information.

PostJobFree doesn’t offer many fields to specify the job’s conditions further, such as whether the job is remote, on-site or hybrid. Entering your company’s location for a remote job post might mislead job seekers to think that the job is at that particular location.

Once we posted our job, we confirmed our email address to confirm our new account and access the main recruiter dashboard.

When a job seeker applies to your job, PostJobFree emails you the application. You can also check who’s applied by navigating to “All Applications.” Alternatively, you can direct your job post visitors to your own company career site via application programming interface (API). However, this costs your company between 10 cents and 50 cents per click, which can add up if you have a popular job post that redirects job seekers to your own site.

PostJobFree also allows you to view your job ad’s traffic analytics to see how many visitors looked at a job ad and where they were visiting from. You have to click on the linked number of visits that appears next to any given job.

Search

If you’d rather take a more active approach to sourcing job seekers, you can make use of its resume search function. You can search by keywords, search query and a particular United States city.

PostJobFree allows for a basic resume search but doesn’t have many search filters to apply.

PostJobFree also allows you to set up a resume search alert, which sends you an alert when someone posts a resume that matches your search terms. When creating a search alert, PostJobFree estimates how many resumes you’ll see each day or month, so you can adjust your query to narrow or expand the number of resumes to expect.

You can set up an automatic resume search alert in which PostJobFree notifies you via email of new resumes that match your search terms.

From the search results list, you can view candidates’ profiles that display the candidate’s name, location, work experience and more. However, their contact information is hidden partially.

The free version of PostJobFree enables you to view candidates’ resumes but you cannot view their contact information, unless you upgrade to a premium account.

You can contact the candidate through PostJobFree’s internal messaging and view message history. With the free version, you’re allowed five messages each week.

With the free version of PostJobFree, you can contact candidates directly via PostJobFree’s internal messaging system.
